In November 2009 we first started geocaching due to our neighbour @geoyoshi. During 2010, we infected a lot of people with the geocaching virus, so we were never alone on a geocaching tour. We placed our first own geocache and we sent out our first own Travel Bug. Here are some impressions from the geocaching year 2010.

Kurz vor Weihnachten hatte ich einen Gutschein von Fotostadt gewonnen. Gleich kam mir die Idee, zwei meiner Lieblingsbilder aus San Francisco auf Leinwand drucken zu lassen. Die tief blauen Bilder passen hervorragend auf die gelbe Wand. Ich bin von der Qualität der Leinwände echt begeistert (und natürlich auch von meinen tollen Motiven ;-) ). Der breite Keilrahmen gibt dem ganzen Werk mehr Perspektive, und man hat so ein bißchen das Gefühl man würde durch ein Fenster direkt aufs Meer schauen. Die Leinwand selber ist aus glattem, weichem Material (und nicht mit rauher, strukturierter Oberfläche, wie ich zuerst befürchtete) und die Farben sind satt und intensiv. Eine wirklich schöne und ausgefallene Urlaubserinnerung hängt nun an der Wand!
Today, on our last (half) day in San Francisco, we spontaneously decided to take the cable car one more time ;-) We hang on a Powell and Hyde Cable Car on Union Square, and hopped off on Lombard Street. This piece of street is quite steep and impressive!
On our fifth (and last) day in San Francisco, we take the bus to Golden Gate Park. More than a hundred geocaches are hidden here by the way ;-) In the west, the Park borders on the beach, so we get a close look at the pacific again. The sun was shining all day and it was as warm as yesterday, but we had a few light clouds today.
